The Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO), Mobile Loaves & Fishes, and the Austin Homeless Advisory Council (AHAC) are all making great strides in addressing homelessness in the area.
ECHO
ECHO is a non-profit organization (501 (c) (3)) that plans and implements strategies to end homelessness in Austin and Travis County. Their Homeless Outreach Street Team (HOST) is an innovative initiative that operates in the Downtown and West Campus areas, and sometimes helps other parts of the city.HOST works to meet the needs of people living on the street.
